For about a week now lights have really been bothering me. At present it is 1:00am and I'm wearing sunglasses, and STILL the monitor and lights around me are too bright. It was hard to watch a movie with my dad earlier tonight just because the t.v. screen seemed too bright, and driving home in the dark was almost impossible because of streetlights and headlights.
I'm just wondering if this is some kind of spiritual symptom or if something physical is going on.
I do not want to have to give-up my computer use but at this rate I may have to.
Does this happen to anyone else?

Ask yourself, "Does this have anything to do with me being aware that I am here right now?"
I'm trying again for the 3rd time to post here, my post won't show. Anyway, I sent an e-mail, but do get checked by an eye specialist. When I had contact lenses sometimes brightness bothered me but it was mild and it didn't last too long.
It sounds really nice and I appreciate that you feel and value it, value to the observations, spiritual observations.
but as my point of view, we may observe the illuminations with the closed eyes. I feel that the real spiritual observations could be observed by the mind's eyes...
Mossy, I don't know. All I know is that at the moment I was thinking about how bright the lights were. I certainly wasn't thinking about the past or future. So in a way, I guess so.
Hi NinRose, they say that third time's the charm. :)
I responded to your email.
I don't wear glasses or contacts, although I used to until June 2007 when I had Lasik.
Hi Eyeshare, you mean the sixth sense? The third eye?
Interesting you mention observing illuminations with closed eyes, as my recent dream involved seeing through closed eyes.
Thanks for your visit.
Occasionally I get badly dazzled by tv or computer screens. I was quite worried about it until my doctor re-assured me.
Hi Rob,
I've never seen a close-up photograph of your eyes, but I am wondering - do you have light-colored eyes?
I've read somewhere online that sometimes people with lighter colored eyes have sensitivity to light.
I'm still trying to figure out the reason. I've received some ideas via email, but I think eventually I'll go to the eye doctor if I can ever get around to it just to be sure everything's OK.
Good idea to see the doctor.
