I find that you are almost as self-absorbed as me. I would change nothing.
Everyone on a spiritual path is self-absorbed, although many deny it. The trick is to enjoy watching one's self-absorbed ego escape itself and intimately encounter the other beings of this world of wonder.
Overall, you will find that very few people will dislike you. But treasure the ones that do dislike you and sting you. Those are the "teachers" who will help us learn the most about our self-absorption.
Kinda like one person's trash is another man's treasure? :)
I just gotta make myself remember what some wise people have told me in the past, that not everyone is going to like me. I just got used to feeling liked by most people I encounter online that when someone criticizes me it takes me by surprise.
But, maybe by posting all those photos on my blog I was becoming too self-absorbed and I needed to be slapped back into reality, where it's not all about me.
Everyone here is too nice even when they see there is fault in you. Makes you wonder who your friends are. I can offer you criticism since nobody else will.
1. You seek sympathy often.
2. You feed off of the sympathy you are given by others.
3. You cry about your blemished credit report when some people are starving and losing everything they have. That only shows a deeper self-absorption than you lead on to.
4. You aren't spiritually centered or even daring when it comes to the topics you write about. If you are going to fail at least fail monumentally! Don't be luke warm! At least you'll have a good story to tell.
5. Stop complaining so much about your problems. You complain way too much and it is painful to hear especially when the next day you sound like you just smoked a bag of weed.
6. You are too afraid of life. You are afraid of being alone, losing this thing or that thing. You're going to lose it all in the end anyway. When you deal with that reality you can deal with anything.
7. You accept too much bad advice that other people give you. I've read some of the bad advice your friends have given you. I won't name names but some of these people have their own interests in mind and either you are playing dumb or you just don't see what is going on.
You asked an honest question so you are given an honest answer. Who better than me to give you the truth.

what one person find endearing another finds annoying...vice versa
if i could change anything about you i would wish that your personality dissolve into the ocean of ecstasy
