An email from a friend caused another dream memory to resurface:
I have a ring with a large rose-colored stone. A woman gives me something to clean the ring off with, but it is abrasive and therefore scratches the stone in various places. She gives me her ring to replace my damaged ring.

Maybe this means that another teacher, this time a woman, is trying to destroy or has destroyed your present "love relationship" with your teacher in order to win your following to herself.
It suggest the perpetual competition or enmity between the masculine and the feminine aspects of spirituality. What are you going to become?
I do not know of any woman who is trying to tear down the relationship between me and my teacher. You love a teacher like you love a father. That kind of love is hard to break.
As for what I am going to become, why, I am going to become me. Hopefully, though, an improved and more aware me. :)
Sophia,
Never mind. It's just a dream. Just wake up.
Don't be upset. Of course I appreciate your interpretations. Others can sometimes offer us things they see that we may be blind to. It's a different perspective. :)
We are all sharing this consciousness, so my dreams are your dreams.
"We are all sharing this consciousness, so my dreams are your dreams."
Oh, oh, you're beginning to sound like your teacher. You don't sound like 'me'.
These things happen when we share consciousness. :)
I don't share it with you. You don't share it with me. I am me. You are you. We are two. And I can relate with you.
I used to feel separated.
Something... some kind of feeling, though, tells me that we are more than we know.
The whole is greater than the sum of its parts.
Well, yes of course. But try to be yourself. And everthing will take care of itself. This Consciousness or Intelligence, God if you will, created us to be unique individuals. And He is all of us. It's just my idea. You don't have to believe it. Maybe you have a better idea.
One thing I know for sure, is that I do not have all the answers. I do not know everything, yet I am extremely inquisitive. It is my desire to know my nature. Obviously my experiences are entirely subjective, and those experiences can lead to beliefs, but I can't expect for every one to believe what I believe. I just know that everything is going to work out the way it's supposed to work out.
God, The Source, The Universe - call it what you will - is, I feel, all of us, yes, so you are right. But, if it is all of us, then aren't we sharing something?
You don't have to know eveything. We don't always share the same God, or the same idea about God. But we are all in God. We are in his hands. Because He is everything. And He includes all of us. This is all you need to know.
You are right - I do not have to know everything. The only certain thing is that my physical body will die.
There are many paths, but eventually they all lead to the same place.
Yes, but be careful. Take care!
