Gateway Experience Journal April 10, 2007

Tonight's lesson was BY FAR the best experience of the series so far, and I'm only still in the beginning of the series. We went into Focus 12. After preparing ourselves, by placing things into the energy conversion box, doing our resonant tuning, creating our resonant energy balloon, saying our affirmation that begins with "I am more than my physical body...", we went into focus 10 and then even further into focus 12. At first, I felt as though I were expanding like a balloon. But by the end of the lesson, when we were back into focus 10, I couldn't feel my body at ALL! It completely disappeared! No numbness, nothing! I was just a little mind in black space. WEIRD! I feel I'm making progress. I am so exited I don't even know that I can fall asleep tonight.

If I do fall asleep, PLEASE let me have dreams that I will remember in the morning!

It's funny...a few months ago I was introduced to the Holosync program AND the Hemisync. I didn't have that many blanks CD's at the time (as you may have guessed these are not "legitimate copies") so I stuck to the 2 holosync CDs. They are great CD's and I'd definately recommend them for those days when you want to feel refreshed and listen to the rain.
Yesterday a friend asked me to burn him the Hemisync CD's and even offered to give me a blank for every one that I made...I thought this was a very generous offer so I immediately went to work. Today was my first attempt at CD 1 (Orientation and Intro to Focus 10) and I have to say that I really enjoyed it. Quite literally I got as far as the 10 point relaxation and POOF I was out of my body and wandering around reality. Normally this takes quite a bit of "mind-searching" on my part but the ease and speed was amazing!
Quite literally I was seeing reality and I know that my eyes had nothing to do with it. My "normal" vision requires me to wear glasses but throughout this experience I had perfect vision...just amazing.
Lately I have been reading your journal entries about this program and I wanted to say thank you...you definitely increased my curiousity (which in turn attracted the opportunity into my reality).

Looking forward to reading more,

A forgetful God

Hi FG,

I don't think I've ever tried Holosync. In fact, as far as Hemisync is concerned, the Gateway Experience is my only experience. I am completely impressed! I have been using sounds, binaural beats and music to meditate for quite a while, and I have never experienced the altered states that the Gateway Experience produces, although I did manage to experience disorientation with the PrimaSounds.

If you're interested in trading CDs let me know. I have other sound healing CDs somewhere in my closet that I have to find, but they are not nearly as cool as the Gateway Experience. Is your hemisync CD the same as the ones I have?

It sounds as though you had a real OBE experience, even more pronounced than the experience I had where I was simply a disembodied spirit roaming around black space. The time I start to see things I know I'm going to be jumping for joy. It's funny that I get so much happiness from these experiences when in reality this is how things already are all the time. I think it's just relief to not only read about it or hear about it, but to finally experience it.

By the way, I got your email today, a bit late because I don't check that old address as much anymore. I'm going to check it more often, but I sent you my new address, which is the same as the one that is now updated on my blog. Now if you email me I'll hopefully get to it sooner. :)

Cheers to you mate, and to the experience of the Experience.

I am aware of OBE's & Astral Projection... I am confused to the "Gateway" you speak of. I have not heard of this. What is it if you don't mind me asking?

Sounds like you had a great experience. As you know, I will soon be doing this program as well. Looking so forward to it.

Hi Lucid,

The Gateway Experience is a series of CDs put out by The Monroe Institute (Robert Monroe) in order to help train its users how to have out-of-body experiences, or at least expansions in awareness. The CDs use guided instructions much like guided imagery CDs and also uses tones like binaural beats. Each tone is a different frequency - the tone in the right ear is different than the tone in the left ear, thus creating a synchronization between the left and right hemispheres of the brain; the difference between the two tones creates a third tone or signal in the brain.

Hi Mark, I hope you'll tell me about some of your adventures! I know you'll enjoy them. Just lay back and relax!

I do mine at night time so that I won't be disturbed by the light, but I did also buy a sleeping mask which I use to meditate with during daylight hours.

This sounds very positive.

Thank you for that answer. I figured it was something along those lines. I have had OBE's but I don't feel too comfortable with them. The sensation is awsome but scary at the same time.

Thank you, Rob!

Hi Lucid, I know someone else who has OBEs but is uncomfortable with them. I'm sure when I have my first conscious OBE I'll be a bit scared! Right now I feel fairly fearless about the whole thing, but that's not to say that once it happens I won't become frightened. I'm sure it's something about being sucked out of the body that is a psychological jolt!

It is funny because when I meditate, most of the time I become bigger then the room itself, but I do not consider this an OBE; just a very large feeling of being connected :) It is great!

It was very interesting for me to read this blog. Thanx for it. I like such themes and anything that is connected to them. I would like to read a bit more on that blog soon.
