When to Let Go

There is something I'm supposed to let go of. That is what the universe has told me today. I'm listening!

Three blogs I've read in a row this morning had the words "let go" in one of their posts. It started when I was reading Reiki 4 Life's blog, then Desiree's blog and finally Alex's blog.

These are the posts that contain the words "let go":

"...Let Go" found on Reiki 4 Life's blog (Interesting that these words were capitalized in the middle of the sentence.)
"I needed to let go!" found on Desiree's blog
"...truly let go" found on Alex's blog

Indeed it is. I'm just surprised that it takes three times for it to sink into my head.

It's always fun when messages are put right in our face, isn't it?

We all need a bit of repetition. If I could could pick ONE book off my shelf and integrate everything in it after one reading I think I would zoom up to enlightenment within seconds. Unfortunately I can read them all and still fail to apply it. I can remember once I was reading my Conversations with God trilogy, it was describing all the problems people are experiencing over the world, and I was getting upset because of spilling a bit of food on the page instead of being concerned about what the book was telling me.

For some reason we are stubborn and learn things the slow way.

I can be just like that. For all I know, the truth could be looking me in the eyes and I would still miss it. I think it's because I'm so used to the lie of what reality is as opposed to what it is not, and truth seems to be somewhat invisible because I've been programmed by society to be blind to it.

Unfortunately I'd also sweat the small stuff, too, like spilling something on the page of a book, when it's the message I should be paying attention to.
