Smile - it's Contagious

This picture shows what I feel like today. Looking at it, do you feel the same way? Have you noticed how most of the time it is easy to smile at someone and actually be smiled back at?

I do feel the same way and yes it is so easy to make another person smile! Just give them one of yours!

Hi Mark, smiles are great. Hugs are great, too. I think I'll make a post on my blog about that guy who went around everywhere trying to get hugs from everyone.

I haven't talked to you in a while. You know how I am - I'm bad about responding to emails!

I have an elderly pen-pal who wrote me a beautiful hand-written letter, and I haven't written back to him in more than a month.

Do you think it's possible to become so obsessed by spirituality that we actually neglect the bond we have with people, even when it's the bond and interconnectedness that makes spirituality so beautiful in the first place?

I'm not trying to answer for Mark, just before him:

"Do you think it's possible to become so obsessed by spirituality that we actually neglect the bond we have with people, even when it's the bond and interconnectedness that makes spirituality so beautiful in the first place?"

Absolutely, but then, you suddenly have to call it something other than "spirituality"...

Alex, you are so right. I don't know that I want to know what it might be called. Perhaps neglect? I feel that I have neglected so many things. There is a lot for me to do in order to make things more balanced.

A smile sure helps. Sometimes the simple things are what make all the difference.

Smiles and hugs are two of my favorite things, and you can't get much more simple than that! Getting a smile in response to a smile is like making contact.
