Yoga class last night, oatmeal for breakfast this morning, broccoli and carrots for lunch, not to mention eyeballing the brownies on the table at work but working up enough nerve to walk by them without giving in to temptation. Also, started drinking diet soda today as opposed to regular.
I think I'm on to something, don't you? (I will have my hot bod back!)

Sounds like you are on the right track. The key is to not feel as though you are withholding anything from yourself, that you are not dieting, you are changing your habits, your lifestyle and that you are not missing out on anything. You should not feel deprived of anything. You should feel that you have made a change, a change which is not temporary.
Keep up the great work!
You are beginning to remind me of a caterpillar transforming into a beautiful butterfly. You are really going though so many changes at once! I'm growing exhausted just reading! :-) Keep up the great work!
Mark, thanks for the motivation! Sadly tonight I gave in and ate the worst thing I could possibly eat - a piece of cheesecake! I just have to remember that any work I do towards my goal is better than not doing any work at all, and that I may make mistakes from time-to-time as I am not perfect.
Desiree, that is a very beautiful thing to say, thank you so much! It's very encouraging for me to read your input. I'm going to try really hard to keep this up!
Have fun developing new habits... It can be exciting as you see yourself transform and start to feel better as a result of change.
The beaches will be waiting for you this summer!
Thanks, Brian! I don't know that I'll be in a bikini by this summer, but anything is better than nothing!
