Vicissitude (I love V words)

It is obvious by now
to all who visit here,
that the recent frequency
of posts to this blog
has been highly prolific.
It is overflow, surely,
as an emotional effect whose
cause should be palpable
by those very few
who know my core.
And like a trumpeter
or town crier,
I would like to blare
it as news to all.
Surely the bells
are ringing.

Your mind has been immersed in ecstatic music, not unlike the mind of Judy Garland. She sang, "You want to have grapes on the vine," that you seem to be fulfilling in your posts. I wonder if Judy had really been here, she might have done exactly what you have done! The world hated her as a person, though, and I'm afraid it still does.

Perhaps I should bestow a fuller quotation from that tremendous song, from Judy's movie "A Star is Born":

"You wanna have bells that’ll ring,
You wanna have songs that’ll sing.
You want your sky of baby blue!
You gotta have me, go with you!"

Congratulations on your new found happiness!

I assume that it will be a "virtual" wedding and I expect to receive an invitation.

(When I looked up "vicissitudes" on Onelook dictionary the first entry said "Page not found". The second entry said "changes and unexpected difficulties".)

Oh goodness - no weddings!

I should specify, that the bells are ringing in the hands of the town criers.

Hear ye hear ye, Sophia is happy. :)
I'm no longer black and blue.

Guru Kurt,

I'm just wondering - can you feel emotions, too, when you listen to the music I've posted? Emotions like soaring high, or electricity pulsating through your body?

Guru Kurt,

I'm going to try to find some of your favorite songs on YouTube. I can't find the movies to watch online but I'll keep looking. Maybe I can download them from somewhere. But I would like to hear the songs you talk about.
