Imperfection

The road to perfection
Is not an easy road.

It is riddled with disappointment,
Frustration
Error

Can a human ever achieve
Perfection
When it is said
That to be human
Is to be imperfect?

I don't think we can reach perfection while we our in our physical bodies on this physical plane. We can only do our best, but we will all fall short sometimes because we are perfectly human. So, never perfect but perfectly human.

Beautiful NinRose

"Zhi zu" Laozi. "Knowing that one already has enough to be fully content." I recommend Chodrun for people who are stuck on perfection. Pema Chodrun.

I just think if I don't get close to perfection then I'm going to have to come back and do it all over again.

Or maybe that the higher realm won't communicate with me unless I make many serious improvements.

Every time I tell myself I've grown and have become balanced, I falter and it's like, back to the drawing board.

Noone can feel balanced 100% the time. Life dis-allows it. For example, If someone says something hurtful to you, you're going to be thrown off balance for a bit. If something angers you, if you feel sick, ect. Feeling off balance is natural, but you can develop techniques to help bring yourself into balance, such as meditating or talking to God.

Hi Nin,

You're right - I don't think it's possible for anyone to always feel balanced, even the most enlightened people.

I probably need to do more communication myself, instead of waiting for communication. The most I've been doing lately is occasionally asking my Higher Self for instructional dreams before I fall asleep.
