I am Most Comfortable Around Animals

At the moment, my cat Peachy is laying on my right shoulder - as she does every night when I am on the computer - holding on to the back of my shoulder with her front claws, her back paws upon my bosom, supporting her. She is purring, and I nestle my lips in her fur and give her kisses. This may sound strange, but I always love to smell my kitties; they each have their own unique smell. Sometimes their scents are so fresh, as if they had just taken a bath. I've even thought a few times that they smell like flowers.

Hi Mossy,

A smile back at ya! And Peachy says "hello", too. She's sleeping on her special pillow on my computer desk.

I just know I'm going to be a crazy old cat lady someday.

Today, there were two neighborhood cats on my front porch. One of them I fed the other night. I think they both belong to someone, otherwise I'd keep them. They both seem to appear healthy.

I wonder if I am like a stray cat.

St. Nick,

Just in time for the holidays, I see.

Let's see, do you find yourself wandering around the neighborhood looking for souls with big hearts? If so, you may be a stray cat.

Maybe we are both stray cats.

Ho Ho Ho! : )

St. Nick,

I'm not a big fan of tuna. I guess that would make me finicky.

I am beginning to think that people who don't like cats should never be married! This should be a line-item question for the marriage license: do you have a venereal disease, do you like cats??
Of the, what, (15) bloggers I communicate with, two are recently divorced and neither likes cats. I know, I know, "anecdotal evidence", but isn't the bible . . . really?

By the way, your cats are really cuties. Ours just the ordinary tabby. (Pictures later)

Goatman,

LOL I agree with you.

When I was looking for a partner, one of the most important things I looked for was a man who not just liked animals, but loved animals.

Now if only I can talk my husband into letting me snatch up this cat that's been hanging around. Of course I'd knock on all the neighbors' doors to inquire about it. The cat is beautiful. The bottom half of it is white and the top half is black. It has a nice big nose and won't let me walk a step in my driveway without rubbing back and forth across my ankles. And, after I'm done petting it, when I'm pulling my hand back up, he/she reaches for my hand with its two front paws, wanting more attention! Today it was very cold outside, and it was in my driveway. I felt sorry for it but I don't want to steal anyone's cat. All of my cats are indoor kitties.

Thanks for the compliment on Peachy. Actually, my other two cats are tabbies. I have a grey tabby and an orange tabby, too. I absolutely adore tabbies! I would love to see pictures of your felines.
