That girl was a party animal, very social. Funny how time changes things. I don't know, maybe I just grew out of the party animal phase. I suppose that happens to many people.
You have a special way of making me feel good about myself.
I hope you say such good things about yourself, too, because you are very deserving. Look in the mirror soon and give yourself a smile, and imagine me on the other side smiling back at you.
Most of the extra weight that I have started to carry is due to medications that decreased my metabolism. Just recently they put me on Wellbutrin, which supposedly increases metabolism, so we'll see. Hopefully it will melt off me in no time! Already my clothes are fitting loosely. This is promising, and I am very hopeful. I want my positive self-esteem to return.
This was me when I was at my best. I guess we can call that the "prime years". I'd like to find her again. (I'm the girl on the left.)
