Bigger and Better and Everlasting

One drop could easily evaporate, but in merging with the ocean, it becomes eternal.

Oh I like this Sophia. It's farbetter than some words of a song I heard the other day: "I'll love you till they find my tears in the ocean." I argued with that, as I argue with most things.

I could argue scientifically with what you have written too!

But you have made me think about the ocean, and its purifying quality and how all the water in the world is recycled there till it is purified again, not through salt this time but evaporation. Miraculously.

I'm glad you liked it, Vincent! You probably could argue some scientific points against it, but as I am not geologically inclined I probably wouldn't be a good debating partner! In any case, I had hoped it would make a good metaphor for what I feel is the nature of the world; everything merges with everything. I am a drop and the world is the ocean.

The nature of water and the ability for the planet to recycle it is interesting, though, and I wish I knew more about it!

Oh gosh, I could gush and gush about how much this quote means to me - instead I'm just going to steal it (providing you credit, or course!)

Cheerfully,

I am honored that it has touched you and that you like it enough to put it on your blog. Also, knowing that you understood it really has made my day, as it's nice to know someone local is in the game, if you know what I mean.
