Disintegration

The mind is a terrible thing to lose.

How can you lose your mind?

You can just simply forget where you left it. Sort of like losing your keys.

I have no idea. I'm a beginner. Not an expert.

It's best to tie a string around your finger so you won't forget it. Or maybe, tie a string around your finger so you won't forget her.

I'm getting too old for this.

"And their great passion is to heal the conflicts that trouble individuals..." This sounds like you, doesn't it. It is you. According to Keirsey.

I think it's true. No one can lose their mind with a Healer as friend or lover.

I don't really know. It's a never ending story. I guess.

For a long time there have been things she wanted to tell you, but she can't, not here, and she has no other way to reach you.

Maybe someday. I have to see her now.

If she is part of you, you can see her now, you are with her.

Siegfried, being a beginner is much better than being an expert. Sophia the mind is a process, and as such it cannot be lost or found. As they say on the London Underground, mind the gap.

Hi Cookie,

What is the mind a process of? Does this process take place inside the body or outside the body?

When I think, it feels as though it's coming from my head. Try it. Where do you think those thoughts are happening. It doesn't seem like my thoughts are happening in my toes.

I wouldn't argue if someone told me the brain is a gateway. But when the brain dies, is the gateway closed forever?

I don't want to be just a flash of neurons. For that matter, I don't want to die.

Hope you're having a happy day. I almost wished you Happy 4th of July but then I stopped myself when I remembered your not in my country. :) It doesn't matter, though, I hope your 4th of July is happy anyway.
