I just can't resist this.
But I don't believe it.
It's just very confusing.
I'm still playing hard-to-get.

Its a natural need. Nothing wrong with desireing the love of another. Its being open to it that is suprisingly difficult.

Mossy,

Love just feels good.

I Love you, too, Jim. Lots!

Let your Love light shine brightly, you sweet angel!

Siegfried,

What do you think is confusing about it? In your own words....

Rachel, I've run into some who would have difficulty being open to it. Some work against it, as if swimming upriver.

Sophia,
Love without strings doesn't mean giving charity. Nobody really loves a pushover or one who is easy. ;>)
Make them work for it. Let them invest. They will find it more valuable.
This is true of true love and spiritual love as well.
Love without stings simply means you just act loving. No matter what. And it could mean ignoring people who are trying to victimize you or turn you into a romantic slave. ;>)

Siegfried,

I wonder what it means to be a romantic slave. Perhaps it means something like worshipping the object of one's affection, though not "worship" as in the sense of a god. "Worship" as in putting their needs before one's own. But that's what true love is, isn't it? When we truly love someone, we put their needs before our own?

I never made anyone work for my love. I always gave it when I could. I admit there are some that I have neglected. I didn't neglect them on purpose, though.

and just what is LOVE?

I don't know what exactly love is, all I know is that when I'm getting it I feel happy. Sometimes it gives me butterflies in the stomach, or even chills.
