What a Life! :)

I'm in a good mood tonight. I just wanted to say that I love you guys!

And I'm almost caught-up with comments! Tomorrow I should be finished, so check some of the previous posts if you commented on them. There are still a few I need to get to. I like symmetry.

De black-and-white kitten
who wanted to live with me
came to greet me today.
He still recognized me
after I sent him away
about three months ago.
The owners, my neighbors
have taken good care of him.
He's very childlike, playful.
I was very glad to see him.
At a local store I saw Anette,
my night school classmate.
She has the habit of looking
people straight in the eye;
se has very clear blue eyes.
We looked at each other
without looking away.
Her mind seems to be free
from sexual thoughts; it
probably doesn't occur to her.
But she is very attractive
and I suspected she is married.
I wouldn't want to be caught
with her in any position.
I like her and respect her,
including her absent husband.
The pretty girl at the grocery store
smiled at me as soon as I came in.
This time she looked shy, self-conscious.
she seemed to be trying to hide her teeth
which weren't really perfect.
I pretended not to notice; but
I still found her very attractive.
I wonder why people tend
to become shy in my presence.
I seem to notice all this
little things about people;
I wish I could read minds.
Could it be that I am more
aware of others now than I am
self-conscious. Maybe they see
something in me that I cannot see;
Maybe I didn't shave properly.
These suggestions I am getting
seem to turn me into another person.
And I have no idea what images
I am projecting. Could it be
that I am dreaming all the time.
This morning I walked thru the town
passed the boats and yatchs,
to pass the time away.
It's been a long time ago
since I took a long walk.
I felt alone but not lonely.
My thoughts kept me company.

Sigurd,

How nice of your cat friend to stop by for a visit. I love it when the neighbors' cats come to visit my house. One of them was old, and I haven't seen him in a number of months. I hope he is OK.

I think you are very aware of other people. Well, at least women. :) You do pay attention to details, and I think this could be a very good practice of present awareness. I suppose we all have to have something to focus on to keep us in the moment!

Maybe it is not you who is doing the dreaming. It would be a dream's dream.

Mark,

On your blog you always seem to be much more caught-up than I am! I can't imagine you getting behind. :)

Lucid,

Thanks! I did do a lot of relaxing over the weekend, even went to a fair with my sister. I haven't done that in a long time.

Have a great week!
