"I desire so to conduct the affairs of this administration that if at the end, when I come to lay down the reins of power, I have lost every other friend on earth, I shall at least have one friend left, and that friend shall be down inside of me." ~Abraham LincolnAbe sounds very illuminated here.
Wise Abe knew who his friend was.
Honest indeed.
I know who Abe's friend is.
Think of Him/Her as a mutual friend.

Wow, poetic Abe is new to me. I guess now this explains how this man was able to live his life during such a divided time. He had found peace on earth.
He knew the direction to look to find this Peace, and if your eyes are open......your looking in the wrong direction.
(This fits perfectly with what I just posted on my facebook earlier. Synchronicity Sophia! We're always doing this.)
Dear Sophia,
So we have a friend in common!
:)
Nice and short post!
All the best
Hi Mem Key,
The quote in this post means a lot to me because it was one of the first quotes that really moved me after I had discovered the Higher Self. You know how things take on new meaning after you've had certain epiphanies?
Frater, you and I are one giant synchronicity just waiting to happen. LOL
Hi Boris,
Yes we do, and so good that we are aware of our mutual friend. :)
Society is selfish and violent.
How to avoid violence?
This means, atleast I have one sincere friend!
Excellent quote! Yes he was a very wise man! Love this!
V, the best we can do is contribute to peace as much as we can.
Mania, it always comes in handy when one feels alone.
Hi Mark, thanks for stopping in. :)
