It's a nice sentiment, found on posters and wall hangings, etc.
It's the way the earth works.
It's hard to accept, though.
We do it to others, and some do it to us.
You wish everyone could stay in contact through your whole life, but I suppose it becomes a practical thing, you can't have a house full of stuff up to the ceiling.
Maybe he'll see all this and reestablish communication with you, Sophia.
I think it's kind of nice to have a falling out with someone, you think that you will never hear from them again, and then at random you come back into contact and continue on as if nothing had happened.

Sophia,
Remember this?
"If you love someone, let them go.
If they return, it's beautiful.
If they don't, it never was."
If he doesn't return, you are both free.
Hi Don,
Sounds like something I might have said a few years ago?
Jim is a good friend that I may have at times taken for granted.
Several people have wondered about his whereabouts...
Wherever he is I hope he is safe. Maybe by completely leaving the Internet he has found peace. I just hope he has not left the world.

I was just speaking about this with a dear friend tonight, about how it would be impossible to stay in contact with everyone we meet.
